Following my studies in France, I spent my spring break traveling other parts of Europe to look at notable architecture and city planning. With its numerous canals, Renaissance architecture, and bike friendly culture, Amsterdam sets itself apart from other large cities. Unlike cities nearby, Amsterdam has a unique urban fabric with canals shaping its urban fabric and a distinct character that changes from daytime to night.
