Chicago, IL, USA

Fall 2014

At Ball State University's College of Architecture and Planning, every fall semester consists of a one-week long Field Trip week to allow students to travel with their professors and explore the way architecture manifests itself in places all over the country. The first-year curriculum sends its students to travel to Chicago, Illinois, USA. It is here where I explored various parts of downtown, college campuses, urban parks, and suburbs. Being a city where the architecture is noted for their originality rather than their antiquity, Chicago boasts various landmarks with historical and cultural significance that demonstrates how new and old designs merge, while maintaining an identity.
