Ottawa, Canada
Fall 2015
At Ball State University's College of Architecture and Planning, every fall semester consists of a one-week long Field Trip week to allow students to travel with their professors and explore the way architecture manifests itself in places all over the country. Upon my second year I had the opportunity to see a broader expression of architecture as our program travel through Canada. Following Montreal, Ottawa is a prime example of formalistic and functional architecture, being the national capital of Canada, which is seen through the variety of monumental structures and unique urban design.
