Summer 2019

Upon completion of the Propositions studio, I had the opportunity to enroll in the Spring Travel Course, Scenography and Statecraft, lead by Brittany Utting and Daniel Jacobs and investigated architecture’s participation in the geopolitical scenography of the Italian Peninsula. While in Florence, we spent an afternoon in Pisa to examine the icon of the Leaning Tower and the impact that tourism on a city and its urban fabric.
